US singer Chris Brown has been released on £5 million bail by a London court after being charged with grievous bodily harm related to an alleged unprovoked attack on a music producer at Tape nightclub in Mayfair in 2023. The 36-year-old artist was not present at the Southwark Crown Court hearing but is permitted to commence his world tour next month as part of his bail conditions. The bail terms require him to pay £4 million immediately and an additional £1 million within seven days. Other conditions include residing at a court-known address, surrendering his passport when not traveling,

avoiding contact with the alleged victim, and refraining from visiting the nightclub in question. His next court appearance is scheduled for 20 June, between performances in Cardiff and London.
