Lyndell “Lynn” Price, once the charismatic face behind Houston’s famed Turkey Leg Hut, now finds himself at the center of a federal arson investigation. According to FBI testimony, Price allegedly paid $1,400 to two individuals to set fire to Bar 5015, a nearby establishment owned by his former business associate, Steven Rogers. The motive? A soured business relationship after Rogers declined Price’s buy-in offer.

The plot thickens with revelations from John Lee Price (no relation), who, during a separate drug investigation, claimed that the Turkey Leg Hut was used as a front for distributing large quantities of marijuana, sometimes packaged in bags bearing the restaurant’s logo. While Lynn Price hasn’t been charged with drug offenses, these allegations add another layer to the ongoing legal saga.

Compounding his legal troubles, Price is also accused of orchestrating the arson of a stolen vehicle and faces charges related to illegal firearm possession, including a flamethrower found in his apartment. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

This series of events marks a dramatic downfall for a man who once stood at the helm of a beloved Houston eatery, now closed amid bankruptcy and legal woes.
