Sean “Diddy” Combs, once the king of Bad Boy Records, is now the center of a federal courtroom drama that reads like a twisted Hollywood thriller. The 55-year-old mogul faces a five-count indictment, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. Prosecutors allege that since at least 2004, Combs orchestrated a criminal enterprise, luring women into his orbit under false pretenses, only to subject them to coercion, abuse, and exploitation.
Central to the case are the so-called “Freak Offs”—elaborate, drug-fueled sex parties that allegedly involved non-consensual acts, recordings, and physical violence. Combs is accused of using his power and influence to manipulate women, often through threats, drugs, and promises of career advancement. Evidence includes video footage of Combs assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who is expected to testify, along with three other alleged victims.
Despite pleading not guilty and denying all allegations, Combs remains in custody, with the trial expected to last several weeks. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years to life in prison.
